Since 1982, still a student of the Wood Handicraft School of the Ministry of Agriculture in Kalambaka, Athanasios Thanos gets appreciated for his talent and love for woodcarving. When he graduated in 1985, he specialized in church woodcarvings and in 1989 he founded his own company. "We made our passion, work!!! "- as he usually says about this period of time.
In the following years, Athanasios Thanos, used his art for hundreds of temples, working the most prestigious wood varieties, at his workshop, always achieving excellent aesthetic results.
Today, the handicraft workshop has grown into a small modern production unit of woodwork creations of high aesthetic, employing more than twenty people.
He has never ceased working with the same passion, giving elaborate form to his favorite material, wood.
